In the framework of the Seminar on Topics in Antennas and Propagation, students will learn how to conduct a bibliographical research, and how to present their findings - both as a scientific paper and a presentation in the semestral symposium. The Seminar is divided into the following parts:

  1. Writing and Presentation Techniques
    The participants learn and practice interactively writing and presentation techniques, they conduct the bibliographical research on the selected topic supported by their advisor, and give a practice presentation for which feedback is provided.

  2. Preparation
    In the second part, the participants prepare a conference article (scientific paper with three pages) and a presentation.

  3. Symposium
    Eventually, the participants present their topic in the semestral symposium of the Seminar on Topics in Antennas and Propagation. Every talk is followed by a short discussion.


To register for the Seminar on Topics in Antennas and Propagation, you have to find an advisor first (see the list of topics below). You have to find and contact the advisor first. When he/she accepts to advise you, you have to send an e-mail to stating the topic and advisor. The registration in TUMOnline is necessary, but not sufficient! Registration deadline Tuesday, 15.10.2019. The number of participants is limited and the first-come first-served principle is applied.
